God pulls!

God pulls! Christ is God’s proof of love to mankind. For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son… The Gospel of Jesus Christ is God’s pull of love to the world. God’s pull of love is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God pulls; never pushes. The creator of the universe respects free will and maintains a principle of self volition. He is not a pushy God. His love, though compelling, is not compulsory. God’s love pulls. Everything depends on Him. He bears the full load (entire weight) and total cost of drawing men to Himself. No human effort is required, other than to receive His love and accept His outstretched hand of grace, extended to everyone. God is always reaching out to lost humanity, bending over backward to save the lost and draw men back to life from death. God is constantly pulling us towards Himself, with the ultimate aim “that where I am, there you may be also”. He pulls us to act in accordance to His will, which is always good, perfect and acceptable. It is however the devil, that pushes men against their will to act and do things that they don’t wish, think or imagine they could do, thereby producing unintended consequences. God is pulling today, but a time will come when He will stop and push back saying: “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” He is saying: “Today if you will hear the voice of the Lord, do not harden your heart or resist. Don’t push back! In the time past, God had reached out to man through several means, but in these last days, He is extending one last big pull of grace through His only son, Jesus Christ. It’s a hand of fellowship and relationship, an invitation to come on to the Lord’s side. Now is the time for Christ to be lifted up, meaning that the truth about the gospel of eternal life be preached, which is Christ and Him crucified, so that all men will be drawn: young, old, rich and poor alike.
